Memory Support is a supplement containing the memory supporting nutrient, Phosphatidylserine (PS). PS is a type of fat found in every cell in the body. It is particularly concentrated in the brain, where it keeps cell membranes fluid, flexible, and primed for nutrient absorption. PS allows cells to better “speak” to one another by keeping cell membranes fluid so chemical messages can be sent back and forth.
PS levels naturally decline with age, and so too does the ability to learn, remember, and focus. PS supplements have been proposed as a partial solution. These supplements are rapidly absorbed into the brain and may compensate for low PS levels to prevent and possibly reverse age-related declines in brain functions. PS naturally appears in numerous foods, including rice and green leafy vegetables, but only small amounts. The Center for Nutrition’s Memory Support is a concentrated source of PS, offering 100mg per Vcap.
